Unlike cultivated rice, this is the genuine article, offering a rich, nutty flavor and delightful texture. Naturally gluten-free and perfect for gourmet recipes, it comes with a cooking guide that shows you how to achieve tender rice in just 20 minutes. Plus, when you purchase, you're supporting Pine Point village tribal members, as all proceeds are reinvested in the community. It’s an excellent choice for your culinary adventures or as a thoughtful gift!
(Ever wonder how to distinguish "Real" Minnesota wild rice from cultivated or paddy grown wild rice in ads? First of all, by Minnesota law, (Statute 30.49) the only wild rice that can be labeled "Lake and River Wild Rice" is rice that has been harvested in the wild and is not cultivated or paddy rice. Lake and River Wild Rice is much more expensive than cultivated or paddy rice due to the very limited supply and the sustainable way that it must be harvested.
